Golokam is more than just an ashram; it is a sanctuary where individuals can connect with their spiritual selves, find solace in the teachings of Lord Krishna, and experience the joy of selfless service.
Maha Shivaratri means the night of Lord Shiva. Maha Shivaratri is celebrated in the vedic month of Phalgun (Feb-Mar) to honor the Lord Shiva. It marks the remembrance of ‘overcoming darkness and ignorance’. Devotees observe strict fast on this day and stay awake the whole night. The Lod Shiva is worshipped throughout the night with abhishekam, other offerings and chanting ‘Om Nama Shivaya’.
