Golokam is more than just an ashram; it is a sanctuary where individuals can connect with their spiritual selves, find solace in the teachings of Lord Krishna, and experience the joy of selfless service.

Gaura Purnima is celebrated on the day of the appearance of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Kaliyuga incarnation of Lord Sri Krishna. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is combined form of Srimati Radharani and Lod Krishna. Sri Krishna wanted to experience the utmost joy and love the Radha Rani felt while serving him. So, Lord took avatar as Chaitanya’s form, adopting Radha Rani’s emotions and complexion. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu also wanted to give Krishna premam (love), mercy and liberation to the people of Kaliyuga by establishing Kaliyuga Dharma, Hare Krishna Maha Mantram, ‘Hare Krishna Hare Krishna/ Krishna Krishna Hare Hare/ Hare Rama Hare Rama/ Rama Rama Hare Hare’. The festival is celebrated by worshiping Chaitanya mahaprabhu & Nityanda prabhu, by abishekam, keertans, music, dance, annadhanam, procession and sankeerthanam.
